Privacy Policy

How ToolPond handles information. Last updated October 25, 2026.

Summary: The numbers you enter into our tools are processed in your browser and are not sent to us. Third parties, mainly Google (advertising and fonts) and our hosting provider, may collect technical data and use cookies when you visit.

1. Who we are

ToolPond is created, operated and maintained by Shahid Abbas, an individual web developer based in Pakistan. There is no company behind the site at this time. Contact: shahid_abbas_haider@hotmail.com.

2. Data you enter into tools

Calculators, converters and generators run in your browser with JavaScript. The values you type are not transmitted to or stored on our servers. Some tools store preferences or game progress in your browser's local storage, on your own device only. You can clear this in your browser settings.

3. Information collected automatically

Our hosting provider (GitHub Pages) and content delivery services may log technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device information, pages requested and referring page, for security and operation. We do not run our own analytics tracking at this time. If we add analytics later, we will update this policy.

4. Advertising and Google AdSense

ToolPond may display ads served by Google AdSense. Ads are not shown inside the interactive tools or games themselves. Please note:

Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites.
Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to our site and other sites on the internet.
You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info.
Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked for consent before personalised ads are shown, through a consent message.

We do not control the cookies set by Google or other ad partners. We do not sell your personal information.

5. Other third-party services

Google Fonts is used on many pages for typefaces. Your browser requests font files from Google, which receives your IP address and browser details.
Social sharing buttons are plain links. They only contact X, Facebook, LinkedIn, WhatsApp or Telegram if you click them, and those services have their own policies.
Some tools load open-source JavaScript libraries from a content delivery network.
ExchangeRate-API supplies the daily exchange rates for the currency converter. When you open that page, your browser requests the rate table from ExchangeRate-API, which receives your IP address and browser details like any website you visit. The amounts and currencies you type are not sent.

6. Cookies and local storage

The currency converter saves the latest exchange rate table in your browser's local storage for up to six hours so the page loads faster. Some games also save your progress in local storage. This data stays on your device, and you can clear it in your browser settings.

ToolPond itself does not set cookies to track you. Cookies may be set by Google when advertising is shown, and by the services listed above. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but some features of third-party content may stop working.

7. Contact form

The contact form opens your own email app. If you send an email to us, we receive the details you included and use them only to reply. We do not share them.

8. Children

ToolPond is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data, or to object to certain processing. We hold very little personal data. To make a request about anything you have emailed to us, write to shahid_abbas_haider@hotmail.com. For data held by Google, use your Google account privacy controls.

10. Security

The site is served over HTTPS. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but because we collect almost no personal data, the risk is low.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. The date above shows the latest change.
