How to Play Crossword Craze

1. Tap a clue from the clue list, or tap directly on a numbered cell in the grid.
2. Type or tap letters to fill in your answer for that clue.
3. Correct answers lock into the grid, revealing letters that help with crossing clues.
4. Complete every clue in a puzzle to finish the level.
5. Earn coins, gems, and stars as you complete puzzles, tracked at the top of the screen.

Game Modes

• World Map: the main progression mode — themed stages of puzzles that unlock in sequence.
• Daily Puzzle: a separate puzzle refreshed once per day, independent of your World Map progress.
• Picture Mode: a visual variant where solving clues builds toward or reveals an image.
• Leaderboard: compare your progress and stats against other players.

Strategy Tips

1. Start with your most confident answers

Filling in clues you're sure about first locks in letters that make harder crossing clues easier to infer.

2. Prioritize short words

Three- and four-letter answers tend to be easier to guess and touch multiple crossing clues, giving you more grid coverage per answer solved.

3. Use revealed letters as hints

Once a crossing word is locked in, use the letters it reveals in adjacent cells to narrow down the harder, longer answers around it.
