What Is Puzzle Vision?

Puzzle Vision is a browser-based 3D sliding puzzle: an image is sliced into a grid of tiles with one slot left empty, and your job is to slide tiles into that gap until the picture is fully reassembled. It's rendered in 3D with lighting, shadows, and a victory fireworks effect, and it's free to play with no download, signup, or login required. You can also upload your own photo to turn it into a custom puzzle.

How to Play Puzzle Vision

1. Tap or drag a tile next to the empty slot to slide it into place.
2. On desktop, you can also use arrow keys or WASD.
3. Keep sliding tiles until the full picture is reassembled in the correct order.
4. Use the 💡 hint button if you're stuck, and ⏸ pause anytime.
5. Choose a difficulty (3×3 up to 6×6) before starting — larger grids are harder.

Game Modes

• 🎯 Classic: no timer, no pressure — solve at your own pace.
• ⏱️ Timed: a countdown is running; finish before time runs out for a score bonus.
• 🔄 Rotation: tiles are scrambled and rotated — tap a movable tile to rotate it 90° at a time, and once it's upright it slides into the gap.
• ♾️ Endless: solve one puzzle and the next begins automatically with a new image.

Using Your Own Photo

On the image selection screen, tap the upload zone to choose your own photo instead of one of the built-in images. Your photo is sliced into the same grid as any other puzzle image, so any picture can become a custom sliding puzzle.

Strategy Tips

1. Lock the top row and left column first

Solve the top row completely, then the left column, and treat those tiles as fixed. This turns the puzzle into a smaller version of itself for the remaining tiles.

2. Save the last few tiles for a short rotation

The final 2x2 or 2x3 block often needs a short cyclic rotation to finish correctly — don't panic if it looks "almost right" but not quite; a few more slides usually resolves it.

3. In Rotation mode, fix orientation before position

Get a tile upright first, then worry about sliding it to its final spot — trying to do both at once wastes moves.

4. Use Hint when a tile's position isn't obvious

Hint highlights a tile that's far from its correct spot — a good nudge when you're not sure what to work on next.
