What Is Snake Adventure?

Snake Adventure is a browser-based revival of the classic snake game. You control a snake that moves continuously around the board; guide it to apples to grow longer and increase your score, while avoiding collisions with the walls or your own body. It's free to play with no download, signup, or login required, and works on both desktop and mobile.

How to Play Snake Adventure

1. On desktop, use the arrow keys or WASD to steer your snake.
2. On mobile, swipe in the direction you want the snake to turn.
3. Guide your snake into apples to grow one segment longer and add to your score.
4. Collect coins along the way for an extra stat tracked separately from your score.
5. Avoid hitting the walls or your own tail — either ends the run.
6. Pause anytime with the pause button, and adjust difficulty from the start screen or settings.

Difficulty Levels

• Easy: slower snake speed, more time to react.
• Medium: the default balanced pace.
• Hard: fastest speed, for experienced players chasing a high score.

You can change difficulty from the start screen before playing, or from the in-game Settings menu.

Strategy Tips

1. Stay central

Hugging the walls limits your turning options. Staying closer to the center of the board gives you more room to react to apples and avoid your own tail.

2. Think a few moves ahead

As your snake grows, plan your route before committing to a turn — it's easy to trap yourself in a corner with a long tail if you turn reactively.

3. Don't panic-turn

Quick, last-second direction changes near walls are the most common cause of an early game over. Slow down mentally even as the snake speeds up.

4. Use Easy mode to learn the board

If you're new, Easy difficulty is a good way to learn how the snake responds before moving up to Medium or Hard.
